Bagh Sheigra
Bagh Sheigra
The westernmost of the beautiful sandy bays along the coastline to the NW of Kinlochbervie. The thin path is dropping down over Torridonian sandstone towards the beach, but on the far side the rock changes again, its pale colour suggesting quartzite, although Anne Burgess identifies it as an ice smoothed gneiss, so I'll go along with that. In the top right of the photo more sandstone can be seen as the cliffs rise along the west facing coast.
