Mother and Child sculpture on the Upper Close
Mother and Child sculpture on the Upper Close
This bronze sculpture of a mother and child was created in 1978 from a wax model dating from 1958, made by the artist George Fullard (1923-1973). His widow Irena made it available to the Norfolk Contemporary Art Society for their first commission. It can be seen in front of 68 The Close, near the entrance to the refectory on the Upper Close.
