The building depicted here is called Dyers Lodge. It is situated on the site of the Dyers' House which was destroyed in an air raid during WW2 and was later rebuilt with the help and funding of the Worshipful Company of Dyers > LinkExternal link and currently houses the school's science labs. During WW2 the area which is now the school's main playground was used by the Cadet Force as a parade ground.

Norwich School is a co-educational, independent day school for pupils aged four to eighteen. The school is set in the Cathedral Close and comprises the Lower School (4-11 year olds) and the Senior School (11-18 year olds).
