West end of Cartwright Hall, Lister Park
Built 1900-03 as an art gallery to the designs of J W Simpson and M Allen, the hall is listed grade 2 (list entry 1133051).
Lister Park, Bradford

The largest park in North Bradford, named after Samuel Lister, local millowner, whose family owned the land from the 15th century and who gave it to the city in 1870 to be used as a public park. His statue is near the south-eastern entrance to the park. It includes Cartwright Hall (an art gallery) and a botanic garden, as well as leisure facilities such as boating lake, bandstand and bowling greens. It is listed grade 2 (list entry 1001222).
