During WW2 the area which is now the school's main playground was used by the Cadet Force as a parade ground. Norwich School is a co-educational, independent day school for pupils aged four to eighteen. The school is set in the Cathedral Close and comprises the Lower School (4-11 year olds) and the Senior School (11-18 year olds).
