Waterford Greenway near Mount Congreve Gardens

Since 2017, The Waterford and Suir Valley Railway has shared much of its route with the Waterford Greenway, an off-road cycling and walking trail between Waterford and Dungarvan. Two people can be seen ahead walking alongside the railway track.

The Waterford & Suir Valley Railway (WSVR) is a heritage, narrow gauge (3ft) railway which follows approximately 8½ kilometres of the abandoned trackbed of Waterford to Cork Railway route from the station at Kilmeadan to Gracedieu Junction, sharing much of the route with the Waterford Greenway.
