View of the main hall on the first floor of Coxton Tower. The panel in the roof was so that a ladder could be used to gain access to each floor in the event that the stairway was breached. The window in the left of the picture has an amorial panel above it NJ2660 : Armorial panel in Coxton tower
The tower is said to date from 1644, although thought to be much older.
