Yett Coxton Tower Doorway
Yett Coxton Tower Doorway
Close up detail of this substantial iron yett. This yett together with the fact that the roof of the tower consists of stone slabs, combine to make the tower impregnable and fireproof. The tower is said to date from 1644, although thought to be much older.
