NY4589 : The top of Blackburn Falls

taken 5 months ago, 3 km from Newcastleton or Copshaw Holm, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

The top of Blackburn Falls
The top of Blackburn Falls
The top fall on Long Gill (named Black Burn downstream) which steepens into a ravine joined by Rough Gill just beyond. There is little water here after the drought and hot weather of the last few weeks. Walter Baxter's photograph NY4589 : A waterfall on Black Burn shows the entire fall from a point further down.
