A local multiple unit stands in Exeter St.Davids station. It carries all over advertising for British Telecom. This batch of units were built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Co. Others to the same design were built by BR Derby works which led to them sometimes being referred to as Derby Deathtraps.
