Langley Barony Lead Mine - reservoir
Langley Barony Lead Mine - reservoir
See NY8266 : Old spoil heap at the Langley Barony Lead Mine. There were two reservoirs: this (larger) one was fed by a water race over three quarters of a mile long, from Honeycrook Burn - its course can still be seen on satellite images LinkExternal link . The smaller reservoir (just to the north) was fed by water pumped from the mine.
