SK2370 : Collapsed wall

taken 2 years ago, near to Pilsley, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Collapsed wall
Collapsed wall
A stone retaining wall holds back the sloping ground on the climb through the plantation. Although this was the only section that had collapsed many other sections were bulging or displaced. From experience it is a case of replacing sections when they fail as trying to replace the entire wall is far too expensive.
