The visitor centre is situated at the entrance to the park near the southern end of Miller’s Pond.

Passing across the front of the visitor centre is a bridle path that connects this point with Ault Hucknall.

Behind the viewpoint (northerly) is the western bank of the Miller’s Pond. This area contains car parking and a picnic area.
