Tall ships, Hudson Dock, Port of Sunderland
A row of tall ships moored 2 abreast alongside a temporary pontoon in Hudson Dock within the Port of Sunderland. The ships were visiting as the Tall Ships Races 2018 started from the city. As part of the event the dock, which is normally off limits to the public was used to host the majority of the visiting ships and public access was allowed so visitors could have a closer look at the participating vessels. The two ships closest to the camera are James Cook and Espirit.
