P & O's Aurora - a modest cruise ship by modern standards but I remember when she was up with the biggest vessels. She is of 76,152 GRT and was built by Meyer Werft at Papenburg in 1998-2000. She carries 1950 passengers (maximum) and has 850 crew. Propulsion is by 4 MAN diesels for a total of 58.8 MW. The twin propellers are turned by electric motors. I cruised on her when she had a buff funnel but she has more recently gone to a blue funnel with the Union flag on the bows. She is seen here taking bunkers.
