De Havilland Collection
De Havilland Collection
The De Havilland Museum LinkExternal link is currently trying to raise funds for a new hangar to protect their collection from the elements. The Vampire T.11 left is particularly vulnerable due to its plywood construction. The BAE 146 (with no wings or tail) makes me feel old I remember the 1970's design concept of QTOL (Quiet Take Off & Landing) its introduction and now retirement as a museum piece as the last "all" British airliner LinkExternal link The four engined aircraft is a De Havilland Heron, and the nose behind the BAe 146 is a Hawker Siddley 125
