Nut Hole Shake
Nut Hole Shake
One of a series of enormous shake holes that run along the top of the Great Limestone and Main Chert off the Sandstones of Faggergill Moor.
This shake hole was one of two that were explored by the miners of the Faggergill Mine Co. in the early part of the 20thC when lead was discovered.
