The turntable from the British Rail sidings at Goodrington was moved to the north of Churston station in 1981 and was aligned on the old Brixham branch.

The Dartmouth Steam Railway or the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway, is a 6.7 mile heritage railway on the former Kingswear branch line between Paignton and Kingswear in Torbay. The line opened in 1859, although it wasn't completed until 1864. It closed in 1972.
