Completed in 1912, Howden Reservoir is the top one of the three reservoirs in the Upper Derwent Valley. The gritstone dam is 117 feet high and 1080 feet long. The reservoir is very low following the dry summer of 2018. Howden Dam is a Grade II listed building. LinkExternal link
