Former station building, Ashby-de-la-Zouch main entrance
The impressive frontage, Listed Grade II*, built 1849 and designed by Robert Chaplin, reflects the efforts to promote Ashby as a spa town. Passenger services ceased in 1964. The building is now in use as offices ensuring its survival in good order. This is the main entrance, in Doric style.
