A low flying RAF Tornado passing Kirkstead in the Scottish Borders
This RAF Tornado GR4, callsign Primus 1, was photographed from Altrieve Rig on the east side of St Mary’s Loch. Tornados are based at RAF Marham in Norfolk and on this sortie Primus 1 flew low level through the Selkirk –Moffat Valley. The Tornado will be withdrawn in early 2019 after over 40 years of service with the RAF.
