Okay - so you walk for a mile, climbing almost 500' in the process and then find that you're not allowed to progress further, according to the centre notice in this trio, because of 'forestry operations'. No advance warning and no alternative route suggested. So what to do? Well I just ignored it. As I walked on, it became clear that there were no current 'forestry operations' and there was absolutely no-one about. I've seen so many examples of sloppy signage such as this in forestry areas that can mostly be ignored. And then there's the fact that this is a right of way AND access land - arbitrarily closed for no good reason. Why don't they remove the signs when they've finished working an area?
