London Bridge Signalbox (London Bridge Area Signalling Centre)

London Bridge Area Signalling Centre (ASC) is a signalling centre on the Kent Route of Network Rail, principally covering the line from London (Charing Cross, Cannon Street and London Bridge) to Kent and Sussex route areas of Network Rail. The signalling centre opened in 1974. The centre covers 140 miles of track and over 2000 trains a day.

Signalboxes

Signalboxes are used in Britain to control the safe movement of trains across the railway network. Most are located either just outside stations or at junctions.
