taken 23 years ago, near to Bolton-le-Sands, Lancashire, Great Britain

Phone mast, Inglebrick
Phone mast, Inglebrick
The first mobile phone mast (imitation tree) to be erected on this hill (photo taken in April or May 1998). A second (c.2000) and a third (c.2008) were added later - SD4866 : Inglebrick Summit. This mast was removed in 2018, presumably as part of a rationalisation exercise.
