Turner's Hospital, Kirkleatham
A range of almshouses originally built for Sir William Turner in 1676, but almost entirely rebuilt by Cholmley in 1742. The design has two storey cottages for 'masters and mistresses' facing each other across a courtyard. Through the ornate gateway can be seen a statue of Justice with the chapel beyond.
