Magdalene Bridge, Cambridge
Magdalene Bridge, Cambridge
Punts on the River Cam close to Magdalene Bridge. The bridge is named after Magdalene College. A Roman ford existed here in 40 AD and this is considered to have been the location of the town’s first bridge, thought likely to have been constructed by Offa in the C8th.
