Magdalene Bridge, Cambridge
Named after Magdalene College. This is near the site of a Roman ford - 40 AD - and the location of the town’s very first bridge over the River Cam - thought likely to have been constructed by Offa in the C8th. This bridge however, in Gothic Revival style, designed by Arthur Browne was rebuilt in 1982.
