Disused Railway Trackbed North of Sandsend
Disused Railway Trackbed North of Sandsend
Part of the coastal railway that ran from Whitby to Saltburn, closed in 1958, seen here above Sandsend Ness.
Last time I walked down here it had been adopted by the Cleveland Way National Trail. Three more have been added - E2 European Long Distance Path, North Sea Trail and England Coast Path.
Whitby can be seen in the distance.
