Hindscarth Edge
The deeply incised gills that drain the ridge into the Gatesgarthdale Beck (foreground) can be clearly seen giving the landscape its typical overlapping cloth appearance. The high ridge is very rocky and looks to be covered in heather. The lower slopes are mainly rough grass and bracken with wetland rushes along the River.
