A steep bendy minor road near Kenmare, Co. Kerry
This road commences in the town of Kenmere and heads roughly north, the surroundings becoming more and more rural as it leaves the outskirts of the town. By the time it reaches this point it has also become narrower, the surface rougher and with grass growing in the middle for most of the time. The road is fairly straight until this point where, having descended a steep hill, it enters a couple of bends as it continues its descent. It was at this point that along with my co-driver we decided not to risk travelling further as our vehicle's ground clearance is quite low. So we chose to reverse back up the hill and turn, with difficulty, using a passing point near the top off the hill!
