Woodland on the Paxton House estate
Probably a mixture of deliberate planting with exotic species, and natural growth of indigenous ones.
Paxton House, Berwickshire
Paxton House is a country estate on the north bank of the Tweed, west of Berwick. It was built for Patrick Home by John and James Adam, 1757-1763 and extended in 1811-14. It remained in the Home family until the 1980s and is now run by a trust and open to the public. It is notable for its Chippendale furniture and the art collection in the private gallery. The main buildings are listed category A and the gardens are also listed.

NB the Trust does not permit photography within the house for security reasons.
