The Watch House, Bermondsey Street, SE1
On the corner with Abbey Street, a grade II listed building, described as early 18th century. A very similar lodge further along Bermondsey Street is not listed. Now a kiosk café, it is not clear what was being watched originally. but an 1872 survey maps it as a 'Fire Brigade Station'.
