Watton at Stone: Hertford Loop railway bridge
Watton at Stone: Hertford Loop railway bridge
The Hertford Loop railway was a comparative latecomer to the main railway network and the line here was not opened until 1918. This is a dead end farmers' accommodation bridge and the road metalling rapidly runs out. It does however provide a crossing point along the railway for a footpath between Watton at Stone and Datchworth.
