taken 6 years ago, near to St Johns, Worcestershire, England
During the summer of 2018 the city of Worcester has had an art trail called Worcester Stands Tall. Between 9th July and 16th September, 30 colourfully decorated giraffe sculptures have been placed around the city on a 6 miles long trail. Each painted to a different design many have been placed at popular visitor locations such as the Cathedral, the Porcelain Museum and Fort Royal Hill. In addition, there are 27 smaller giraffe sculptures placed around the city. At the end of the event, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for the ‘St Richard’s Hospice Build 2020 Appeal’, a project to build a larger hospice in the city.
