Rhododendrons on Bretton Moor
Rhododendrons on Bretton Moor
The wild rhododendron is a sign of an acid soil associated with the millstone grit of the northern Dark Peak area. Less than 200 metres to the south is Eyam Edge where the millstone grit falls away to the limestone White Peak area.
