Royal Victoria Dock: Tidal Basin Pumping Station
Royal Victoria Dock: Tidal Basin Pumping Station
The Tidal Basin surface water Pumping Station is on the north-west side of Seagull Road, close to Royal Victoria DLR station. It was built to the designs of the architectural practice of Richard Rogers in 1988. This is literally the tip of the iceberg as the structure extends to some 25 metres below ground level.
