Greenwich: Greenwich Park: Statue of General Wolfe
The statue overlooks the view point over the Park and the Old Royal Naval College. It is a Grade II Listed Structure and the Historic England website describes it thus:-

"1930. Dr R Tait McKenzie, sculptor. Bronze figure holding telescope on high, square stone plinth up 4 shallow and one tall step. Inscription "This monument, the gift of the Canadian people, was unveiled on the 5th of June 1930 by Le Marquis de Montcalm." Plinth much pitted by bomb fragments."

The bomb damage is visible in the image.

Major-General James Wolfe (1727 - 1759) moved to Greenwich with his family as a child, and both he and his father are buried in St Alfege Church in the town.
