Greenwich: The Old Royal Observatory: The Peter Harrison Planetarium
The Peter Harrison Planetarium is a 120-seat digital laser planetarium that was opened in 2007. Its claim to be "London's only Planetarium" is correct insofar as the better known one by Madame Tussauds closed in 2006. This is the south-east side and the angle of the southern side on the left is set at the latitude of Greenwich at 51 22' 44" North such that it points directly at the Pole Star.

Made from 250 individual bronze plates, the planetarium was funded by the Peter Harrison Foundation, a charitable trust. For further information please see their website LinkExternal link
