Isle of Dogs: Masthouse Terrace Pier & Site of the SS Great Eastern Slipway
Masthouse Terrace is a stopping point for the Transport for London Westminster to North Greenwich River Bus.

On the right of the pier is the site of the slipway where Brunel's SS Great Eastern was launched in 1858 from the Millwall Iron Works. The iconic photograph of Brunel in front of the launch chains of the ship was taken here in 1857.
