Appleby Frodingham Steelworks - BOS plant and gas holder
The huge building is the Basic Oxygen Steel plant with the continuous casting plant hiding behind it. The gas holder is one of several on site that hold coke oven or blast furnace gas. I cannot remember what's in the white bags but they are arranged either side of Lime Avenue.
This site is vast and although there are already pictures on the site, it is not difficult to find new angles and try to add some information.
