River Thames: Metropolitan Police Marine Service Pier
The pier is accessed from the north side of the river via Wapping Police Station on Wapping High Street. The police station is the building in the centre of the photograph with the masts. It is a Grade II Listed Structure, built to the designs of the architect John Dixon Butler between 1907 and 1910. The white building to the left is old Aberdeen Wharf, also Grade II Listed. The building to the right is St John's Wharf which is not listed.
