The slight mist and a little sunshine highlights bumps and ridges that wouldn't usually be noticed. A few of the white cottages that are characteristic of upper Teesdale are visible. The nearest is Hill End with Herdship Farm beyond to its left. The nearer Frog Hall is hidden by a ridge.
