taken 20 days ago, near to Stepney, Tower Hamlets, Great Britain

River Thames: Limehouse Basin Entrance
River Thames: Limehouse Basin Entrance
The Entrance enables access from the Thames to the Basin and Marina, the Regent's Canal and the River Lee Navigation via the Limehouse Cut.

Limehouse Basin was once known as the Regent's Canal Dock, and had another locked entrance to the left of the current one in this photograph, while the Limehouse Cut also had its own separate entrance from the Thames to the right in this photograph.
