From the top path there are two ways down to the river path. Long and easy to the left short and steep to the right.
In the ownership of the National Trust, the gorge offers some excellent walks. This circular route runs high above the river (top path) from the Devil's Cauldron entrance to the Waterfall entrance returning along the river path - a distance of some 3 miles.
