NS2374 : Site of IBM Greenock factory

taken 6 years ago, near to Braeside, Inverclyde, Scotland

Site of IBM Greenock factory
Site of IBM Greenock factory
The factory opened here in 1951 and closed in stages from 2003-2006. Some administration jobs remained on the site until fairly recently. The company now has an office building at Ladyburn in the east end of the town. The only remaining building on the once expansive campus is the disused call centre at the Greenock side of the site.

This was the main entrance from the A78 dual carriageway, the remains of Office Block 1 can be seen.
