taken 18 years ago, near to Glynde, East Sussex, England

Village Store, Ranscombe Lane
Village Store, Ranscombe Lane
The village shop has been operating from the site since the start of the 19th century and leased from the Glynde Estate since they purchased it in 1815. The cottage to the left is Peartree Cottage erected in the 1730s and whose building originally included both shop and the weatherboarded Little Cottage but was subdivided and turned into the shop. Little Cottage was converted into a tea room in 2005.
