taken 10 months ago, near to Bundouglas, Galway, Ireland

Gully with strata
Gully with strata
Steeply-inclined strata (Bennabeola Quatzite, Dalradian) are displayed on the wall of this gully running inland. This length of coast is famous for its sea caves and is promoted for exploring by kayak. These features make for perilous walking at times.
