SO7181 : St John the Baptist, Kinlet

taken 6 years ago, near to Kinlet, Shropshire, England

St John the Baptist, Kinlet
St John the Baptist, Kinlet
A very isolated church set in parkland. Its size suggests that there may have been a larger and more important settlement here than there is now. It is possible that the village was cleared when Kinlet Hall was built in 1729.
