NZ3572 : Spanish City, Whitley Bay

taken 6 years ago, near to Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, England

Spanish City, Whitley Bay
Spanish City, Whitley Bay
Recently restored grade 2 listed building on the sea front at Whitley Bay, now with a smart restaurant inside. Not quite what I was expecting, as I had this mental image of Dire Straits performing 'Tunnel of Love', with the line - 'And girl it looks so pretty to me like it always did. Like the Spanish City when we were kids'. No sign of Mark Knopfler!
