If you’re not already, drive on the left!

This sign instructs you to drive on the left now you've entered England – however, you should already have been doing that! If you'd been driving on the right until now, you would most likely have entered the layby opposite rather than this one, and anyway may well not have made it this far!
I think there is a German spelling mistake on this sign.
